HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: McLaughlin's last-second goal lifts New Milford girls

SOUTHBURY -- Marisa McLaughlin scored five goals, including the game-winner with only one second remaining, to lift the New Milford High School girls lacrosse team to a 13-12 victory over Pomperaug Wednesday night. McLaughlin's goal gave New Milford its first lead of the game. Noelle Capriglione added four goals for the Green Wave and Madison Romandi made 12 saves to preserve the win. Caroline Dwyer had three goals and two assists for Pomperaug and Ally McCormick added three goals. Erika Foschi made 12 saves for the Panthers.
