Midland's Patty ends senior season with 6-5 record

Central Michigan University’s baseball season came to an end Sunday with a 6-5 loss to 13th-ranked Florida in an elimination game at the NCAA Tournament’s Gainesville Regional hosted by the Gators. The Chippewas end at 43-19 after reaching the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season.

CMU senior righthanded starting pitcher Jordan Patty, a Midland High alum, finished the season with a 6-5 record, a 4.83 earned-run average, and 82 strikeouts in 82 innings of work.
