Voter turnout at 19% in Milford at 3 p.m.

Voter turnout was at 19% at about 3 p.m. on this Nov. 3 Election Day, according to the Milford Registrar of Voters office.

Milford voters today had or will have a chance to cast their ballots for representatives in municipal races. Incumbent Mayor Ben Blake, Democrat, and his challenger, Republican Paula Smith, top the ticket.

Joanne Rohrig, the current City Clerk, a Republican, is being challenged by Democrat Brendan Casey.

City voters also have a choice for representatives on the Board of Aldermen, Board of Education and Planning and Zoning Board, as well as constables.

Polls close at 8 p.m.
