A Milford man was arrested on a warrant for allegedly stabbing another man at a Memorial Day party May 28.

According to police, on May 28, at approximately 10:40 p.m. police received a report of a stabbing that took place at a Milford home. Witnesses told police that during a Memorial Day party, one guest was stabbed in the neck and hand by an uninvited guest, Christopher Wesolowski, 28, of 23 Granville Ave., Milford.

Wesolowski is accused of stabbing the man in the neck and hand following a verbal confrontation by the male victim, who approached Wesolowski about having a handgun and pointing it at other guests throughout the course of the party, police said.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries and later released.

A search warrant was executed at Wesolowski’s residence and police seized a handgun and a knife.

Wesolowski was taken into police custody on May 29, charged with breach of peace, assault with a knife, carrying a dangerous weapon and reckless endangerment.

Wesolowski was released on a $50,000 bond to appear in Milford Court on June 26.
