City Clerk race: Brendan Casey

Brendan D. Casey
What are your qualifications for this position?

Born, raised and educated in Milford, I received a Media Communications Degree from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. I have more than twenty years of professional experience in Marketing, Public Relations and Data Management. I'm a state-approved elections official and currently a data administrator at a Yale senior society. I’m active in many local organizations, including: Milford International Little League Board of Directors, Youth Basketball Coach, Woodmont Borough Auditor, Woodmont Day Committee, Woodmont Volunteer Fire Company and The Democratic Town Committee. I enjoy working with others to set objectives, solve problems and achieve goals.

What do you hope to accomplish?

I hope to earn the trust of the people of Milford.

The office of the City Clerk has a long tradition and rich history... with Alan Jepson, of course, as the gold standard. I would be very proud to have the opportunity to serve the people of Milford.

So much of our daily lives revolve around the City Clerk's office. I will run a friendly, efficient and open office. I will re-evaluate our public record-keeping process with an all-out effort made to improve our computerized services for the convenience of our homeowners and taxpayers.

I look forward to seeing our Milford residents in the office... looking through the record books, getting their permits or licenses, or just stopping by to say hello.

I will be spending more time in the front of the office rather than the back of the room. As I like to say … “I’ll Clerk Hard For You”.
