Two accused of intoxication, disturbances in Milford
MILFORD — Police responded to two reports of men being asked to leave two different restaurants for alleged public intoxication over the weekend.
According to police reports, the first incident was reported at 4:48 p.m. Saturday at Citrus, 56 S. Broad St. Police said officers were responding to a report of an unwanted person, and an investigation led to the arrest of Brendan Gloss, 24, of Stratford. Police said Gloss was “uncooperative with restaurant staff and attempted to fight with police after being asked to leave the restaurant due to his intoxication level.”
Gloss was charged with interfering with a police officer and released on a promise to appear in court Jan. 7.
The second incident was reported around 10:30 p.m. Sunday at Liberty Rock Tavern, 229 Brideport Ave. Police said officers responded to a report of an unwanted person. The investigation led to the arrest of Tadeusz Kuchita, 33, of Milford.
Police said Kuchita was “kicked out of the establishment due to his intoxication level earlier in the evening. Kuchita came back a short time later and threatened to shoot employees.”
Kuchita was charged with second-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace. He was release on a promise to appear in court Jan. 7.
