MILFORD — Seven males have been arrested after an investigation into vehicle burglaries over a two-night period.

Police early Saturday observed a suspicious motor vehicle in the area of Old Gate Lane and New Haven Avenue.

“The investigation led to the arrests of four men who are accused of entering several vehicles in Milford and were found to be in possession of several credit cards and licenses,” police said.

Those arrested included Dajon Donaldson, 18, of Hanover Street, Bridgeport; Deron Dacosta, 18, of Hollister Street, Stratford; Ahijah Walker, 19, of Devine Place, Milford; and Josian Johnson, 18; of Wheeler Avenue, Bridgeport.

Each is charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, theft of a credit card, fifth-degree larceny and sixth-degree larceny. Walker also is charged with possession of marijuana.

Early Sunday , police responded to the area of New Haven Ave and Dalton Road on the report of cars getting entered.

“Milford Police located three suspects and an investigation led to the arrests of three males who are accused of entering three vehicles in the area and taking items from the vehicles,” police said.

Jimmy Joyner, 23, of Edna Avenue, Bridgeport, and Izaiah Rivera, 18, of Cowles Street, Bridgeport, are charged with three counts of third-degree burglary and conspiracy, two counts of sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy and conspiracy to have weapons in a motor vehicle.

Police said one juvenile also was arrested Sunday morning.

All were released on a promise to appear at Superior Court in Milford June 23.
