MILFORD — Detectives continue to investigate what police described as an isolated shooting after a house was hit by gunfire early Saturday morning.

At 12:25 a.m., officers from the patrol division responded to the area of Park Avenue for a report of shots fired.

Officers found that a Park Avenue home had been hit by bullets and found multiple shell casings in the street, police said. No one in the home or outside was injured in the shooting.

“This was believed to be an isolated incident and there is no further threat to the public,” police said.
