MILFORD — A 32-year-old city man was arrested after allegedly firing multiple gun shots during a domestic dispute on Hawley Avenue around midnight Tuesday.

Tyshon Williams of Hawley Avenue was arrested Thursday on a court warrant charging him with unlawful discharge of a firearm, reckless endangerment and breach of peace.

Police Tuesday received numerous calls reporting multiple shots being fired at 121 Hawley Ave.

“Police responded, made the area safe, and determined there were no injuries,” police said.

The investigation was conducted by the Detective Division and resulted in an arrest warrant being issued for Williams, who is accused of discharging a firearm during a domestic violence incident.

Part of Hawley Avenue was blocked off during the investrigation.

The incident reportedly was related to a domesic argument in which a woman drove into several parked cars.

When officers arrived, they found a woman in a car that had crashed into several parked vehicles in the area. No one was in the cars, and no one was injured.

The woman apparently had been involved in an argument with a man, which escalated.
