MILFORD — A 32-year-old woman has been accused of scratching and yelling at a neighbor who woke her up by using the stairs early Monday morning, police said.

Isabelle Martins, of Naugatuck Avenue, was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, second-degree threatening, third-degree harassment and violation of a protective order.

Police said the incident occurred when the man woke the woman around 5 a.m. Monday.

During the investigation it was determined that Martins had an active warrant for her arrest and is accused of sending a man several threatening text messages on July 13, police said.

The man has an active protective order against Martins.

She was held on $8,000 bond and was scheduled to appear Monday in state Superior Court in Milford.
