Milford cops: Bridgeport man chased person with box cutter, slashed tires
MILFORD — A 39-year-old Bridgeport man has been arrested following an assault near the Cumberland Farms store on Boston Post Road Monday morning.
Rhonel Russell of North Ridgefield Avenue is charged with third-degree assault, second-degree threatening, criminal mischief, breach of peace and possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana.
Police responded to the area on breach of peace report just before 5:30 a.m.
“Investigation led to the arrest of Russell who is accused of punching an acquaintance in the face, chasing him around the parking lot with a box cutter, and then slashing his tires with the box cutter,” police said.
He was released on a promise to appear in court July 17.
