Roberta J. Eisenhandler, 88, of Milford, beloved wife of Melvin Eisenhandler for 66 years, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Roberta received her nursing degree from Fordham University, her Bachelor degree from New York University and her Master\u2019s degree from the University of Bridgeport. She was a nursing administrator at area hospitals for many years. Roberta proudly served with the Nurse Cadet Corp during WWII. She is also survived by her children Jon Eisenhandler and his wife Susan of Connecticut., Lisa Perrault and her husband Paul of Rhode Island., David Eisenhandler and his wife Maureen of Milford, Noah Eisenhandler and his wife Paula of Orange, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Phillip Schackno. All services will be private. Donations may be made in her name to Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon St. Watertown, MA 02472.
