Joseph Mansfield Moger, passed away on June 29, 2017. Born November 8, 1938, in Milford, CT to the late Joseph Moger Jr and Martha Peeso, he attended local schools and graduated from Milford High in 1957. After serving in the US Navy, he returned to Milford and married Bonnie Gunn in 1962. Nicknamed \u2018Bud\u2019, he grew up in Bayview on the banks of Calf Pen Meadow creek, was the quintessential beach kid, and a self-proclaimed swamp yankee. An avid shooting sports enthusiast, he was an NRA life member and staunch 2nd amendment defender. Bird watching, photography, the history of WWII aircraft particularly the Corsair, and more recently kayaking and overseas travel were all passions woven through his life. A diehard NY Yankees fan and baseball lover generally, he also followed UConn basketball. He worked as a warehouse supervisor for several industrial establishments in Milford, Bridgeport, and Hartford, until retiring to Maine in 2006. He leaves the love of his life and inseparable companion, Bonnie of Westbrook, Maine; two daughters and their families: Jodi Moger and husband Glenn Harmon, and Jenni Davis and husband Michael Davis, two granddaughters and two grandsons, all of Portland, Maine; four sisters: Dolores McNelis, Jude and her husband John Celano all of Milford, Roseanne Annicelli of Guilford, and Debbie McEntee of Florida; a brother Jerry and his wife Diane of Milford; and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson Warner Harmon. Memorial will be held in Milford at a date to be determined.
