Wanda V. Kochiss, age 93, longtime resident of Milford and beloved wife to Marshall Kochiss, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Milford Hospital.
Born on October 18, 1920 in Derby, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Victoria Lizon Jacek.
She was devoted to her family and spending time with them meant the world to her. Proud of her Polish heritage, Wanda loved to share with her children the traditions she grew up with.
An active room mother for St. Ann’s school, she was also a dedicated volunteer for the St. Ann’s Ladies Guild and the women’s auxiliary of the Milford Police Dept. She also was active in the Milford Council of Catholic.
Loving and caring wife, mother and sister, Wanda will be deeply missed.
In addition to her husband Marshall of 61 years, she is survived by her cherished daughter Marsha V. Kochiss of Milford and her brother Edwin Jacek of Seymour.
She was predeceased by her son Mark J. Kochiss, and two brothers, Henry and Edmund Jacek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 15th at 10:00 am (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH) at St. Ann’s Church, 501 Naugatuck Ave., Milford. Interment will be private. Friends and family may call on Friday, March 14th from 4:00 pm to 7:00pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad Street Milford, CT 06460.
