Virginia Kelley Moran, 95, of Milford, CT entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Milford Hospital Hospice Suite.
Born on November 9, 1918 to the late Edward J. Kelley and Frances (Hallowell) Kelley, Virginia was a Bridgeport resident most of her life before moving to Milford in 1979.
Virginia worked at St. Augustine’s school when her children were young, but then went to work for the Bridgeport City Employees Federal Credit Union for the next 32 years retiring in 2001.
Virginia loved the beach, her Thursday night get togethers with her best friends referred to as “the club” and her jaunts to Broadway as often as she could.
Virginia was predeceased by her husband Bob of 65 years just this past July and her sister Doris Harding of Shelton.
She is survived by her three children; Robert Moran and his wife Helen of Trumbull, Chris and his wife Robin of Orange and Sally of Milford, her cherished grandchildren; Christopher, Darren and Scott of whom she was so proud, and her special nieces, Kathy Jacobi of Milford and Virginia Dedad of Shelton.
Our family would like to extend our thanks to VITAS Hospice and Connecticut Hospice for their special care and to the nurses of Milford Hospital. Also to “Vida” her wonderful aide.
Friends and Family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, August 14 at 10:30 AM DIRECTLY in St Ann Church, 501 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford.
