Vernaley “Ronnie” Day Briglia, age 88, longtime resident of Milford, and beloved wife to the late Thomas P. Briglia, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 20, 2014.
Born on February 16, 1926 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late John and Mabel Sing Day.
Ronnie worked at the former Alexander’s in the jewelry department for over 25 years.
An avid gardener, Ronnie was also accomplished in needlepoint and crochet, creating beautiful items that will be always treasured.
Loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters; Vernaley Doxsey of Meriden and Darlene Kaczmarczyk of N. Haven; her son, Thomas J. Briglia of N. Haven; her six cherished grandchildren, Lorette, Mark, Jason, Rebecca, Wendy, Jeffery and ten great grandchildren.
All services are private. Arrangements are being handled by the Cody- White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford CT 06460.
