Susana F. Gyorgy, age 98, of Milford, passed away, on Thursday, January 9, 2014 in Birmingham Health Center in Derby.
She was born on April 2, 1915 in Santiago, Chile to the late Denes and Edelmira Gyorgy Tapia.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by her devoted children Ester Ponce DeLeon and her husband Ricardo, with whom she resided, Denes Magliona, Claudio Magliona both of Chile and Jessica Magliona of France, thirteen grandchildren including Rick Ponce DeLeon and Elly Van Egghen and her husband Bob and eighteen great grandchildren including Susana and Rob VanEgghen.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Orlando Magliona and grandsons Manuel and Orlando Ponce DeLeon.
Calling hours are Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 2 to 5pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. A prayer service will be held on Monday, January 13th at 10am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
