Richard “Dick” A. Badick, age 81, longtime resident of Milford and beloved husband to Mildred Engelhard Badick, passed away at home on Thursday, October 23, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.
Born on July 6, 1933 in Scranton, PA, Dick was the son of the late William and Mary Ghirardi Badick.
Richard served with pride and honor in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Prior to his retirement, Richard was a machinist for the former Avco Industries.
He was an avid golfer, yet his favorite time was spent being with his devoted wife, Millie, and his family, and Richard will be deeply remembered for his generous, loving and kind nature.
In addition to his wife Millie of 58 years, he is survived by his children, Richard Badick, Jr., and his wife Laurie and Kim Cholewinski and her husband Mark; cherished grandchildren, Stephanie and Alexia Badick and Kara Cholewinski; his sisters, Marlene Aiello and Mary Beth Recupido and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Barbara Ann DePalmer.
Friends and family may call on Sunday, October 26th from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street Milford, CT 06460. Interment will be private.
