Obituary: Priscilla Manning Weber, 71, of Shelton, formerly from Stratford and Milford

After defying the odds of Stage IV lung cancer for eight years, Priscilla Manning Weber of Shelton, formerly from Stratford and Milford, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the age of 71.

Priscilla was blessed to have lived a good life. She had a wonderful family and great friends. She loved gardening, shopping, walks at the beach, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Robert. Priscilla worked at Nancy’s Card and Gift in Milford before going to work at Bridgeport Hospital in the Surgical Scheduling Department. She leaves two children; her daughter, Robin Tichy and her husband Ron of Stratford; her son, R. Michael Weber and his wife Abigail Evanko-Weber of Shelton;

Also, her many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Robert Reynolds and his wife Lisa of Seymour, Jillian Ward and her husband Chris of Stratford, Kyle Weber of Ansonia, Richard Weber of New Haven, Quinn Weber of Shelton, Jared Tichy of Stratford, Zachariah, Noah, and Hannah Evanko-Weber of Shelton, Ty and Jakob Reynolds of Seymour, and Mia Ward of Stratford;

Also, a sister, Lynda Langsam and her husband Barry of Stamford, a brother Edward Manning and his wife Cathy of Stamford, Fred Weber of East Haven, Wayne Weber and his companion Janet also of East Haven, Scott and Luanne Weber of East Straudsburg, PA., and Pamela Weber-Kopko of Westford, MA. She is also survived by many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Priscilla was predeceased by her parents Arnold and Geraldine Manning of Harrison, NY, and her in-laws Caroline and Fred Weber of Stratford, her sister-in-law Carole Capozzi, her niece Teisha Marie O’Leary, and her beloved granddaughter Molly Evanko-Weber.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, June 20th at 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 10 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church 500 Wigwam Lane Stratford, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Thursday, from 4-7 p.m.
