Pablo Antonio Valadez, 37, of Milford CT passed away Wednesday December 3, 2014 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT.
He was born March 29, 1977 in Lawrenceville, IL the son of Pablo and Erika Valadez.
He graduated from Lawrenceville High School in 1995. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Illinois State University in 2004. He worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT and was currently in schooling for Nurse Anesthetist.
He was a member of the Hi-Way Church of God. Pablo was best known for his love of his family and his faith. He had a generous heart and always helped those who needed it. He believed in blessing others. His passion for finding a cure for cancer increased through his own battle with it. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents: Pablo and Erika Valadez of Lawrenceville, IL, a sister: Heidi and her husband Justin “Gus” Inskeep of Olney, IL, maternal grandparents: William “Bill” and Rita Cobb of Lawrenceville, IL, nieces and nephews: Elijah, Joseph, Jonathon, Grace and Elliana, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Antonio Valadez Serrano and Anna Lopez Gavira, an Uncle: James B. Cobb, one niece: Joy Inskeep, and cousins: Jessica and Amber Sharum.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00pm at the Hi-way Church of God in Lawrenceville with burial to follow at the May Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is also Wednesday from noon until the service hour of 2:00pm.
Memorial donations may be given to the Pablo A.Valadez College Scholarship Fund with envelopes available through the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, IL.
