Myrtle May Brown, age 86, of Milford, passed away on Thursday August 14, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 20, 1928 in Harmony, PA., to the late Chester W. and Rose (Martin) Pettis.
Myrtle was the wife of the late Elton R. Brown and was employed as a factory worker for JPM of Milford several years.
She is survived by her devoted children Donald Brown and his wife Marie, Robert Brown and his wife Barbara both of Milford, Timothy Brown and his wife Diane of Orange, Dennis Brown and his wife Anna of Milford, Steven Brown and his wife Beth of Naugatuck and Judy Schnieder also of Milford, 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her children a beloved son Elton (Gill) Brown and beloved daughter Doris Walsh.
Calling hours are Wednesday August 20th 2014 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated, Thursday at 10:30 am directly in St. Mary Church, Milford with interment to follow in St. Mary’s cemetery.
