Maren Victoria Sanchez, cherished daughter to Donna Cimarelli-Sanchez of Milford and Jose Alexander Sanchez of Miami, FL, was born in Bridgeport CT on August 26, 1997.
She was an honor student at Jonathan Law High School, Class of 2015. Amongst her many achievements, she was president of her freshman and sophomore class; co-manager of the softball and swim teams, as well as a member of several other school clubs including the drama club.
She was a gifted guitar player and vocalist. Photography was her passion and she was the school photographer for the 2013 junior prom. Maren saw the world through artist’s eyes; she designed and sewed some of her own clothes, and built custom furniture for her room. Maren was this year’s nominee to represent her high school in this year’s Barnum Festival contest. She was the girlfriend of Jarrod Butts.
Maren had an air of confidence that allowed her to accomplish anything. Maren was and will always be a limitless light who saw the world through a spectrum of joy, love, kindness and compassion. Everyone she touched felt her warmth.
Our angel leaves behind a legacy of love and all who were privileged of basking in her light, including her maternal grandparents, Irene Roberto and Don Cimarelli of Bridgeport; paternal grandparents Neyci and Jose “Pepe” Sanchez of Miami, FL; siblings, Brittney Sanchez of Miami, FL and Jordan Sanchez of Tallahassee, FL. Maren also leave aunts, uncles, a nephew, and cousins. Last but not least, she leaves behind every individual she touched as evidenced by the outpouring of love by her community of Milford, Connecticut.
