Ledena A. Davis Dutton age 81 of Stratford beloved wife of Arthur (Mike) L. Dutton Jr. passed away peacefully on February 16, 2014 in St. Vincent’s Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Ledena was born on February 14, 1933 in Monticello, Maine and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Bessie Brannen Davis.
She enjoyed cooking, skiing, gardening, knitting, square dancing, was an avid nature lover and adored spending time with her family.
In addition to her beloved husband Arthur of 61 years, Ledena is also survived by one son, Douglas A. Dutton and wife Carol T. of South Carolina, one daughter, Deborah Cohen and husband Stanton of Milford, five grandchildren, Nicole Monroe and husband Aaron, Gregory Cohen and wife Christall, Christina Dutton, Owen Dutton and wife Trisha and Dillon Dutton, eight great grandchildren, Eman, Azlynn-Jade, Jai, Kaillon, Cooper, Michael, Cody and Noah, one brother, Dennis Davis and wife Marjorie of Montville, CT and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her beloved parents, Ledena was also predeceased by three brothers, Paul, Basil and Tom.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home 2220 Main Street Stratford. Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:00 -11:00 AM.
