Laura J Romanello, age 88, beloved wife to the late Daniel W. Romanello, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Milford Healthcare Center.
Born on December 2nd, 1925 in Port Chester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Anna Yankowski.
She was an avid bingo fan, who enjoyed visiting the casinos any chance she could get. Above all, family dinners and get togethers were Laura’s everything.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Laura is survived by her children, Domenick Romanello (Fran), Mary Catalano (Philip), and Ann Sprague (Doug); grandchildren Geri Lynn (Anthony), Laura (Brad), Marybeth (Adam), Nicole, Amanda, Daniel, Vincent (Arielle), and Kayla; great grandchildren Anthony, Thomas, Luke, Domenick, and Henry; and brother-in-law Vincent Romanello; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Laura was predeceased by many loving brothers and sisters.
A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, May 5th, at Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford CT 06460 at 10AM. Burial will immediately follow the service at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 High Point Cir, Rye Brook, NY 10573. Friends and family may call on Sunday, May 4th from 2-5 PM at Cody White Funeral Home.
