Jennie A. Volpe Santoro, age 89, of Trumbull and formerly of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Milford Health Care. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph “Questi” Santoro.
Born in Brooklyn, New York on August 12, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Jennie Marie Susi Volpe.
Survivors include her sister, Viola Callahan of Milford, a brother, Ernest Volpe of Boca Raton, FL and nieces, Debbie Chaffin and her husband Robert and Jennie Daniells and her husband Douglas, both of Milford. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Jennie was predeceased by her sisters, Angie Lucas, Rose Milano, Jean Colangelo and a brother, Frank Volpe.
Friends may greet the family on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
