Henry Francis Pavlowski, age 83, longtime resident of Milford and beloved husband to Edna Kaimer Pavlowski, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Milford Hospital.
Born in Throop, PA on June 20, 1931, he was the son of the late John and Mary Malecki Pavlowski.
Henry served with pride and honor in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Prior to his retirement, Henry was a warehouse manager for CT Distributors in Stratford.
A consummate joker, he was known for his quick wit, was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed a game of golf. He was a dedicated and active member of the DAV Chapter 15 and in his spare time loved cultivating his vegetable garden.
Henry will be remembered as a caring, generous and kindhearted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, whose greatest joy was spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Edna of 57 years, he is survived by his three daughters; Linda Cable (Chris), Katheryn Jackson and Sandra Pavlowski; his cherished grandchildren, Heather Cable (Andrew Fake), Brian Cable (Jocelyn) and James Jackson and great grandchildren, Sawyer and Reed. He is also survived by his brothers, Leo and Anthony Pavlowski of PA and his sister, Helen Bronko of Stratford and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Stanley and sisters, Jennie, Mary, Eleanor and Beatrice.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd at 10:00 am at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 71 River St., Milford, CT. Interment to follow at King’s Highway Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Friday (TODAY), November 21st from 5 to 8 pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street Milford, CT 06460.
