Barbara Sherburne Van Cisin, of Huntington, beloved wife of Kennan Van Cisin, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 29, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at home after a long courageous battle with LAM.
Born in New Haven, the daughter of the late Arthur and Irene Vallas Sherburne, Barbara grew up in Milford.
She received a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Sacred Heart University.
Her favorite pastime was taking cruises with her husband, Kennan. Barbara was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband Kennan, Barbara is survived by her sister Joyce Healey and her husband Robert of Milford, her brother John Sherburne of North Haven, and loving nieces, nephews and family members.
Friends and family may call on Friday, January 3, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460. Burial will be private.
