Anthony J. Volturno, age 89, of Milford, loving husband to the late Joan Marie Cogan Volturno, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2014, at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Born in Bridgeport, CT on June 25, 1924 he was the son of the late Frank and Nancy Presto Volturno.
Anthony was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
Anthony is survived by his loving daughter Toni Ann DiRienzo and her husband Michael of Orange; three loving grandchildren Courtney and Mark Volturno and Brianna DiRienzo and his daughter in law Karen Volturno.
He is predeceased by his son Frank Volturno.
A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, February 10th at 11:00 am at Cody-White Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport, CT. Friends and family may call on Sunday, February 9th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460.
