Obituary: Anita (Turcott) Nyszik, 73, of Trumbull

Anita (Turcott) Nyszik, age 73, of Trumbull, passed away August 6, 2014 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.

Mrs. Nyszik was born in Bridgeport to the late Armand and Evelyn Turcott.

She was the author of several Christian books entitled “Glimpses of His Majesty,” “How Great Thou Art” and “Hold My Wrinkled Hand, Lord.” She was a devout servant of Our Lord Jesus Christ who touched many lives. Her family was of utmost importance to her. She taught Sunday School at Calvary Evangelical Free Church, volunteered at Vacation Bible School and helped with Operation Christmas Child.

She was an avid camper, who enjoyed the outdoors and loved all of God’s creatures. She was also a former scout leader.

Anita will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her beloved husband John Nyszik of Trumbull, three devoted children Linda (George)Pastor of Milford, John (Dawn) Nyszik of PA, and Donna (Paul)Truini of Oxford; two cherished grandchildren Tyler and Dylan Truini; two brothers Armand (Buddy) Turcott of Monroe and Albert (Babe) Turcott of Oxford; two sisters Debbie and Donna and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Evangelical Free Church 498 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Inurment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may greet the family on Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull.
