Amelia Tosado Cruz, age 90, resident of Milford and beloved wife to the late Juan S. Cruz, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport.
She was born on February 2, 1924 in Puerto Rico and was employed as a factory worker in the packing industry prior to her retirement.
Amelia loved to sing and cook, especially for her loving family.
Kind and loving, Amelia will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children; Wilfredo Cruz and Anna Rivera (Julio) all of Milford; her cherished granddaughter, Jean Alea Rivera and great granddaughter, Renee Alexis Robles and many loving nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 9:00 am at St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT 06460. Interment to follow at King’s Highway Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 4 to 8 pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad ST., Milford, CT 06460.
