Adelaide M. Tamilio, age 80, of Milford, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 in Milford Health Care Center.
She was born on January 24, 1934 in New York City to the late John and Benedetta DiLapi Milano.
Before retiring, she was employed as a supervisor for Angelica Health Care Systems.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she was a long time parishioner of St. Mary’s Church.
Mrs. Tamilio is survived by her loving husband Valadore G. Tamilio, children Pia Tamilio of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Thomas Tamilio of Manassas, VA, grandchildren Sophia and Grey Tamilio and brothers Robert and Joseph Milano of Long Island.
Calling hours will be on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 4 to 8pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 23rd at 10:30am in St. Mary’s Church, Gulf St., Milford. Interment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery on a date to be announced.
