Lots of people helped when mother fell down

To the Editor:

On Sept. 26 my mom was taking my 10-year-old daughter to a shoe store in Milford center.

My mom fell as my daughter looked on. I would like to thank the caring bystander that jumped in to get my mother help and calmed my daughter while she also made a call to me at work in New Haven, the off-duty medical worker that started caring for my mom, Matt and Matt Arciuolo for their kindness and the Milford Fire Department responders, especially the lieutenant who reassured me over the phone and made arrangements for my daughter to go with my mom on the ambulance.

I also thank the AMR responders who not only triaged my mom but took care of my daughter on the ride to the hospital, the Milford police officers and the Milford Hospital emergency staff.

Thank you all for what you do every day. Because of your actions my mom is on the mend and my daughter felt secure in a scary situation.
