Letter: Urges facts, not innuendo, when discussing budget

To the Editor:

A claim was recently made that the Democrats on the Board of Education had increased administrative costs.

In recognizing that the board is currently evenly split between Republicans and Democrats, it is clear that nothing can be done without some, if not all, bi-partisan support.

Upon doing some research, I found that the last two budgets passed by the Board of Education were done so unanimously, again meaning that all five Democrats and five Republicans voted "yes" to all costs associated with running the school district.

I think it is important that facts are understood when considering issues, and not innuendo.
