To the Editor:

I am concerned about the new multiple-housing proposed on Pond Point Avenue and the overdeveloped small parcels, in general, around the city. They are a disservice to the surrounding residents of these properties.

In the past several months, two identical “spec” homes were literally squeezed into a small, sub-divided lot at the corner of Calf Pen Lane and Buckingham Avenue.

It's a shame that plot plans continue to be approved for properties in Milford that, ideally, should only allow one single-family home.

While it's too late to do anything about the homes on Buckingham and Calf Pen, the Pond Point Avenue project will be subject to a public hearing within months.

I urge concerned residents to voice their opinions at the hearing.
