To the Editor:

On behalf of the board of directors, staff and, most importantly, our clients at the Beth El Center, we would like to express our sincerest appreciation for the generous outpouring of community support for the Trick or Trot walk/run held Saturday, Oct. 26. There was a large and enthusiastic crowd of people, some of whom were in costume, and prizes were awarded to the 5k run winners as well as for best costumes.

Our deepest gratitude goes to George Adams and Dana Friedman, partners in the law firm of Harlow, Adams and Friedman, who have both been long-standing and loyal supporters of Beth-El and its mission. Our thanks also goes to Danielle Bercury, Joe Kubic, from Harlow, Adams & Friedman who, along with Joanne Lucia and Michelle Parry from Sikorsky Credit Union, spearheaded the effort.

As always, our appreciation to Maria Tomasetti, who coordinated all of the many churches that participated and who have provided the foundation for the original Walk for the Homeless for so many years.
