Robyn B. Harrington, 63, of Milford, first grade teacher for the Fairfield Board of Education, wife of Gerald Harrington, died Sept. 12, in St. Raphael Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Milford on Jan. 28, 1953, daughter of the late Walter and Adeline R. Nold Mars.

Besides her husband, she is survived by daughters, Rachel Harrington-Pavlo and her husband, Robert of Milford, Kathleen Harrington-Boehm and her husband, Dennis of Middlefield, and siblings, Robert (Eva) Mars, Walter J. (Mary Ellen) Mars, Colleen (Richard) Sardi, Carol (Frank) Mancini, Linda (Joseph) Whalen, Thomas (Joyce) Beckwith, Jean (James) Collins, Denise (Thomas) Charney, and Paul (Sarah) Beckwith.

Also predeceased by second mother, Marion Mars.

Calling hours: Friday, Sept. 16, 4-8 p.m., Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. Committal service: Saturday, Sept. 17, 9:30 a.m., King’s Highway Cemetery, Milford. A celebration of Robyn’s life will proceed in Black Rock Church, 3685 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield at 11 a.m., with a reception to follow.
