Robert “Bob” Weston, 70, formerly of Danbury, former special education teacher at Joel Barlow High School, retired school psychologist in the Lakeland N.Y. Central School District, died Feb. 25, at his Carolina Meadows home in North Carolina, where he lived with his life partner, Carolyn Holt.

Son of the late Eleanor Campbell Weston and Robert A Weston; U.S. Army surgeon, World War II; married Nancy Jaques in 1971 and got divorced in 2002.

Besides his life-partner, survivors include his daughter, Shanna Weston, her husband, Josh Ruminski, and their two daughters, Annadelia Ruminski and Lailah Ruminski, of Hudson, Mass.; his son, Leith Weston, of Arlington, Va; three sisters, Sandra Lee Tanner, of Harwich, Mass., Martha Weston and her husband, Pedro Baez, of Chappaquiddick, Mass., and Ellen Weston and her husband, Jim Tien, of Pinecrest, Fla.; and by Chris Holt, of Durham, N.C., and granddaughter, Alexis Stone, of Raleigh, N.C.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 5, 11 a.m., Community Church of Chapel Hill-UU, 106 Purefoy Road, Chapel Hill, N.C., followed by a reception.
