Obituary: Marilyn Prunier Zacarelli, 80, employee of the Milford Planning and Zoning Department

Marilyn Prunier Zacarelli, age 80 of Milford, and beloved wife of Frank Zacarelli, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Milford Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born in West Haven, CT on September 19, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Laurence E. and Agnes Jorgensen Prunier.

She was an employee of the Milford Planning and Zoning Department for 21 years. Marilyn was a member of Freden Lodge #12 of the Danish Sisterhood, and served as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary’s Church for many years.

Marilyn was also very tech savvy, for she enjoyed reading and watching movies on her laptop and Kindle.

In addition to her loving husband, Marilyn was survived by her three sons, Gary Zacarelli (Marlene) of Clifton, CO, Wayne Zacarelli (Colleen) of Milford, Mark Zacarelli of Milford; her daughter Lisa Chimblo (Gene) of Cos Cob; her eight beloved grandchildren, Deidre Kuechler, Dianna Zacarelli, Dawn Morrishow, Patrick Zacarelli, Matthew Zacarelli, Jenna Zacarelli, Brandon Caruth, and Geno Chimblo; and great grandchildren Avery McCullough and Nalani Morrishow.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 9th, at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 70 Gulf Street, Milford CT 06460. (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will immediately follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Buckingham Ave, Milford CT. Friends and family may call on Friday, March 8th, from 4 to 8 PM at Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford CT.
