Lucille Ann Cardamone Montanye Esposito, 83, of Milford, formerly of Norwalk, employed by the City of Norwalk , died Nov. 6, at Lord Chamberlain Nursing Center, after a long battle with cancer.

Born in Scranton, Pa., daughter of the late Vincenzo and Mary Apa Cardamone.

Survived by daughters, Maria Montanye Mackin, (Bruce) and Luann Montanye Bartke (Kenneth), four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her brother, Dominick Cardamone and longtime companion, Charles Batterson, and a large extended family.

Predeceased by her son, Roy Montanye and sisters, Mary Pierce, Delina Anastasia and Constance Nardella and a brother, James Cardamone who died in childhood.
