Obituary: John Joseph Cirillo, 83, of East Haven

John Joseph Cirillo, 83, of East Haven, custodian for Milford Police Department, husband of the late Antoinette “Toni” Cirillo, died Aug. 6, in Guilford.  

Born on June 9, 1933, in New Haven to the late Pasquale and Carolina Mangino Cirillo; U.S. Airforce, Korean Conflict.

Survived by children, Pasquale Joseph Cirillo and his wife, Rosario of Moodus and John Michael Cirillo and his companion, Carol of Mesa, Ariz. and Marianna Kuhn and her husband, Bernard of Milford, his companion, Marie Sidera, brothers, Robert Cirillo and his wife, JoAnn of Wallingford and Joseph Cirillo and his wife, Frannie of Fla., sisters, Carol Boyan and her husband, John and Theresa Goldberg, all of Hamden, two sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, nin grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Also predeceased brother, Pasquale Cirillo and a brother-in-law.

Visiting hours: Thursday, Aug. 11, 5-8 p.m., Smith Funeral Home, 135 N Broad St., Milford. Services: Friday, Aug. 12, 11 a.m., St. Lawrence Church, West Haven. Burial will follow in Mount Saint Peters Cemetery, Derby.
