George J. “Joe” Woehicke, age 70, of Milford, Ct, passed away on July 9, 2013.

Born in Philadelphia on January 28, 1943, he was the son of the late George and Helen (nee McNichol) Woehlcke.

He was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty Catholic High School and Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary. George served as a priest in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for ten years and then as a competitive analyst for Pitney Bowes.

He was an avid fisherman and gourmet cook.

He was the beloved brother Rita Woehlcke SSJ, Leo (Susan) Woehlcke, and Anne Mountain; caring uncle to John, George J. and Mary Ellen (Crowe) Woehlcke, George F., Philip and Mary Grace Mountain and proud great uncle of Courtney, Emma Grace and Samuel Joseph Woehlcke and Leo D. Crowe.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life with the family on Wednesday July 17, 2013 at Saint Joseph’s Villa, 110 West Wissahickon Drive, and Flourtown PA 19031 from 9:30-10:30. The Memorial Mass will follow at 10:30 in the Villa Chapel.
