Obituary: Frances Taylor, 95, of Milford, formerly of Stratford
Frances Taylor, 95, of Milford, formerly of Stratford, wife of the late Augustus J. Pace and Charles F. Taylor, died July 13, at Carriage Green Assisted Living Facility.
Born Aug. 18, 1920, to the late John and Mary (Kindel) Grich; worked as a dental hygienist, a secretary at General Electric in Bridgeport, co-owner/operator of a health club in Westport and worked for Read's in Bridgeport and Jacopian Cleaners in Stratford.
Survived by daughters, Janice Pace, Claudia Stewart and her husband, Mark, Susan Kelly and her husband, Tim, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Also predeceased by a daughter, Deborah J. Pace, brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph (Marge) Grich, John (Helen) Grich, William (Tressie) Grich, and Edward (Evelyn) Grich, and son-in-law, Arthur Dritenbas.
Services: Tuesday, July 19, 10:30 a.m., St. James Church, 2070 Main St., Stratford. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Milford. Visiting hours: Tuesday, 9-10 a.m., at the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, Stratford.
