Emil G. Hayducky, 87, of Milford, beloved husband of Audrey L. Hayducky for 63 years, entered into eternal rest April 20, 2013 at Milford Hospital.

Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Stephen and Anna Hayducky.

Emil was a proud veteran in the US Marine Corps, where he served his nation in WWII and was an Iwo Jima survivor. He was awarded the Purple Heart in addition to many other medals and citations.

Emil was a longtime member of the VFW Post in Devon. Emil was an avid golfer and loved spending time working in his garden and he also enjoyed computers, cars and the beach.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children; Marianne Haydusky of Milford, Joanne Haydusky of Milford, Audrey Stella and Karen Primavera both of Branford; five grandchildren, Jason and David Primavera (Karen) and Jean, Michael and Erica Stella (Audrey). He also leaves behind four great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Ann Haydusky and six siblings.

All funeral services are private. Cody White Funeral Home, Milford handled arrangements.
