Obituary: Charles Raymond Lazzara, 80, of Milford

Charles (Charlie, Cholly and Chas but never Chuck) Raymond Lazzara, 80, of Milford, baker, letter carrier, husband of Carol (Jayne) Lazzara of Milford, died Nov. 14, at Milford Health and Rehabilitation.

Born Sept. 28, 1935, in Bridgeport to the late Charles Lazzara and Irene (Lasky); U.S. Army, Okinawa, Japan.

Besides his wife, survivors include his son, Charles R. Lazzara, Jr. (Maryanne) of Milford, his daughter, Teri J. Lazzara (Alex Samuels) of Seattle, Wash., his son, Joseph Lazzara also of Seattle, Wash. and his son, Vincent E. Lazzara (Dawn) of Groton, Vt., daughter-in-law, Cheryl Lazzara, son in law, Brad Mathews, Lazzara grandchildren, Anthony, Vincent, Matthew, Teri N., Chloe and Adam Enes and Samantha Rose Kiss, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Robert Lazzara.

Graveside Service: Tuesday, Nov. 17, noon, Mountain Grove Cemetery in Easton.
