Arthur F. Hoyt Jr., 93, of Milford, employed by Yale University as a plumber, died Aug. 12, in Connecticut Hospice.

Born on March 26, 1923 in Stratford to the late Arthur and Alice Lavery Hoyt Sr.; U.S. Army Air Corps, World War II.

Survived by his wife,Evelyn Kilroy Hoyt, children, Meredith Stowe and her husband, Arthur, Kenneth Hoyt and his wife Christine all of Milford and Deborah McGraw and her husband William of Hamden, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Also predeceased by his grandson.

Visiting hours: Tuesday, Aug. 16, 4-7 p.m., Smith Funeral Home, 135 N Broad St., Milford. Services: Wednesday, Aug. 17, 10:30 a.m., St. Mary’s Church, Gulf St., Milford. Burial will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery.
