Obituary: Alice Romick, 82, of Milford
Alice Romick, 82, a lifelong resident of Milford and beloved wife to Joseph Romick, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Milford Hospital.
Born in Milford on November 26, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Marie Daniels Larkins.
Prior to her retirement, Alice was employed by Fleet Bank as a teller.
A longtime devoted member of St. Mary Church and the Ladies Guild, Alice also enjoyed dancing and treasured the time spent with her family.
Well-known and well liked, Alice will be remembered for being a kind, generous and loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be also greatly missed by her three granddogs, Kayla, Nitro and Dolly.
In addition to her husband, Joe of 58 years, she is survived by her daughters, Lori Romick and her husband Tom Barrell, Melinda Connors and her husband Jim and Wendy Ruggiero and her husband Joseph; her cherished grandchildren, Jimmy IV and Kevin Connors, Tom and Joey Romick Barrell and several loving nieces and nephews. Alice also leaves behind her “Special Sister”, Mary Ann Boufford and her husband Ray and daughter Mary Jane and family.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary, her brothers, Ronald and John Larkins and sisters, Marie Callahan, Ruth Mumper and Faith Sullivan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 30th at 10:30 am at St. Mary Church (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH), 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT 06460. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Sunday, December 29th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460.
