Alice M. Wilcox, age 80 of Milford and beloved wife to the late Col. Lawrence R. Wilcox (USAF), entered into eternal rest at home on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Ellsworth, ME on April 3, 1933, she was the daughter of the Late Carl and Harriet Moore.

Prior to her retirement, Alice was a medical secretary for the VA Hospital.

Alice enjoyed using her cooking skills to try out new recipes and also loved to travel in her leisure.

A devout and active member of her church, Alice will be remembered for her friendship, kindness and compassion. A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she will be remembered for her spirited sense of humor and quick wit, and will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her children: Joan Carmichael and husband Bruce of Manchester, NH, Laraine Fenton and husband Steven of Milford and Donald Berlekovic and wife Pamela of Milford; step-children, Lynda Hillebrenner and husband Gary of IL and Randy Wilcox and wife Georgia of FL. Also her cherished grandchildren, Robert Clark, Lauren Verner, Russell Clark, Jeffrey Carmichael and Steven Carmichael; siblings, Harry (Buddy) Moore of Ellsworth, ME, Natalie Healy of MI and Donald Moore of Orono, ME and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Karlene from Helping Hands for her compassion and care of Alice for these past 2 years.

A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd at 11:30 am at the Cody-White Funeral Home. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Monday, July 1st from 4 to 8 pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Rosary, 15 Pepper Rd, Monroe, CT 06468, or to the Alzheimers Association, 2242 West Holcombe Blvd. Houston, TX 77030-2008.
