Obituary: Albino “Mario” Picarazzi, 87, of Milford, formerly of Easton and Trumbull

Albino “Mario” Picarazzi, 87, of Milford, formerly of Easton and Trumbull, a self-employed contractor, husband of Rose Capasso Picarazzi, died Nov. 30.

Born in Rome, Italy on March 1, 1928, son of the late Giovanni and Maria DeVellis Picarazzi. Besides his wife, survivors include his children, John Picarazzi and his wife, Deborah of Monroe, Diana Picarazzi of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Anthony Picarazzi and his wife, Kathi of Milford; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, his brother, Guido Picarazzi and wife, Jean of Trumbull, two sisters, Sylvia Chandler and her husband, Peter of Virginia, and Virginia Picarazzi of Fairfield, two brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

Also predeceased by his sister, Ida, his stepmother, Rose Sementelli Picarazzi, and a brother-in-law.

Services: Thursday, Dec. 3, 9:30 a.m., St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull. Entombment with military honors will follow in the St. Monica Mausoleum in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Visiting hours: Wednesday, 4-8 p.m., Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
