Kendrick J. Anderson, age 67, of Clinton, formerly of Milford, beloved husband of Millie Salamone Anderson, died unexpectantly at home on Tuesday July 3, 2012.
He was born on January 25, 1945 in Arlington, VA and was the son of the late Henry and Queen Kendrick Anderson.
Ken was a lumber salesman for 45 years and with the Denison-Cannon Company in N. Billerica, MA for the past 11 years.
Ken was past chairman of the Clinton Board of Education. He was a UCONN graduate and was an active member of all his high school class reunions. Ken enjoyed being with his family and children, especially the many sporting events that they took part in. He was their biggest cheerleader.
He enjoyed the outdoors and working in his yard. Ken loved the water and the North Carolina ocean vacations they took every summer. He was a kind soul with a big heart, and would help anyone who needed it.
Ken will be missed by many people.
Besides his wife Millie, Ken was the proud father of Brian, Erin and Matthew Anderson. Also survived by a sister Susan MacQueen of Freeport, LI; step mother Sally Anderson of Manhattan, NY; mother-in-law Gilda Salamone of Harrison, NY; brother and sister-in-law Carl and Suzanne Giannotti of N. Branford and many cousins.
Friends and family may call on Sunday, July 8th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, On the Green, Milford. A service will be at the funeral home on Monday July 9th at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford.
