Albert A. Ambriscoe, 89, of Orlando, FL and formerly of Milford, beloved husband of the late Audrey C. Ambriscoe, died Tuesday, July 24, in Ocoee FL.
Mr. Ambriscoe was born in Milford, on August 18, 1922 to the late Andrew and Julia Lazorik Ambriscoe and was a lifelong Milford resident prior to moving to FL 17 years ago.
Mr. Ambriscoe served our country in the US Navy during WWII and recieved the American Theatre Medal, Victory Medal and the Asiatic Pacific Medal. He was the former owner and operator of A&B Fuel Service in Milford, a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Tinto Council 47, VFW #7788 in Milford, the DAV of Milford and the Milford Senior Citizens.
Survivors include four daughters: Catherine Mullenix of FL, Pamela Ambriscoe of New London, Mary Ambriscoe and Jane Pacelli of Milford, a brother; Francis Ambriscoe of Orange, two grandchildren; Jhenna Pacelli MacDonough of New Haven and Andrew Mullenix of Clermont, Fl, great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Mullenix, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ambriscoe was pre-deceased by his granddaughter, Jennifer Mullenix.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday morning at 9AM in The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30AM in St. Mary’s Church, Milford. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Milford.
